POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports the core business activities of the CHRISTUS Performance Improvement department by providing high level analytic and strategic insight. Responsible for the preparation of initial and final documentation necessary for delivery to customer, systems and programming; insures quality and timeliness of work performed and the final products. Under the direction of the Director of Workforce Planning, the project manager establishes schedules and methods for achieving project goals and objectives; and reviews work products, makes corrections and coordinates accordingly with leadership.

JOB SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES:

• Coordinate internal resources and teams for the execution of complex projects and implementation plans
• Establish work priorities and develop comprehensive project plans to track and report progress
• Direct and manage project work and report project status and accomplishments
• Ensure timely project delivery
• Develop organizational tools such as project plans, timelines, meeting agendas, conceptual models and presentations to document and communicate project goals and needs, engage stakeholders and define deadlines and accountabilities.
• Upon completion, assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures for each project as necessary
• Develop, maintain and activate systems for deviations from project plans to facilitate decision-making, adjustment to plans and communication to project leadership.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education/Skills:

• Bachelor degree
• Analytic ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
• Excellent written and verbal skills required
• Good judgement, initiative and problem solving abilities
• Ability to handle and resolve complex issues with little assistance
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to communicate effectively

B. Experience

• Five to seven years healthcare experience with two to four years' experience in business process environment

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certification

• PMP or CRA Certification, or obtained within 1 year of employment.
