LeadingAge Texas (www.leadingagetexas.org), the State’s premier association of not-for-profit aging care & service organizations, is seeking a talented individual to serve as its Manager of Sales & Business Development.
The Manager of Sales & Business Development is responsible for managing the day-to-day interactions with members, actively engaging members in group purchasing programs, coordinating sales and marketing efforts for Value First (www.valuefirstonline.com/tx) and ensuring that members have their needs met in a timely fashion, with direct sales to members a core function. Primary responsibilities include active solicitation of members to participate in group purchasing programs, overseeing the development of cost studies for prospective customers, managing vendor relations, development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies. Statewide travel is required (approximately 60%+ - some overnight) to assist members locally with their group purchasing needs.Interested candidates should send a letter of introduction, salary requirements and a resume to be considered.
