The Marketing Manager leads the marketing communications strategies for The Beryl Institute and affiliated organizations with a focus on building effective go-to-market programs to drive awareness and action. The right candidate will have effective management skills, a solid understanding of market trends and a proven record for establishing and achieving marketing goals.
Senior Vice President, The Beryl Institute
Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas - Preferred (Virtual position – will work remotely with periodic in-person meetings)
Responsibilities include the following, with other duties that may be assigned as the community grows and the role develops.
Develop and implement go-to-market and communications strategies for The Beryl Institute and Patient Experience Journal, and support affiliate Patient Experience Institute including digital, direct marketing, social media, public relations, event presence and content marketing
Effectively manage all brands to drive awareness and grow membership, resource/program utilization and event participation
Work closely with staff leads to define marketing materials and program needs for each area of operations
Manage communications calendar and project/design trafficking to meet established deadlines
Build email campaigns and track marketing metrics and website/email engagement
Manage social media accounts by building content calendar and monitoring social campaigns
Oversee website design and updates to ensure information is current and easily accessible
Track and manage marketing expenses to maintain budget
Bachelor’s Degree required, with minimum of 5 years in a marketing role with a clear focus on expanding market presence for an organization and a clear track record of increasing leadership accountability
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Leadership experience in an mission-driven and/or association/membership organization and an understanding of the healthcare environment a plus.
Proven experience as a valuable individual contributor and either formal or informal leader in prior organizational settings.
Team player with an understanding and focus on the delivery of unparalleled service
High-energy leader capable of quickly assessing situations and needs and deploying resources effectively in response while measuring and monitoring results
Ability to multi-task and take personal initiative for specific areas of accountability
Ability to demonstrate professionalism, maintain composure and perform well under pressure
Strong persuasive and analytical skills
Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs
The Marketing Manager is a virtual role, providing the individual with work flexibility, but also the need to ensure critical focus in maintaining consistent communication and management responsibilities. Travel expectations will be related to team meetings, events hosted by the Institute, or direct outreach to major member organizations. This will average around two travel days per quarter.
