This position provides leadership and oversight of residential programming. This position also provides supervision of Residential Assistants and program logistics, including day-to-day operations of Resident Treatment Center and Detox, program scheduling and related activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for designing, publishing, and coordinating an assessment and residential program schedule consistent with the Skywood and FRN System of Care.
Collaborates with Clinical Manager and Clinical Director to confirm scheduling of staff to balance both quality and efficiency of coverage.
Collaborates with management team in establishing qualifications of facilitators.
Implements, trains and monitors evidence-based practices. Assists, coaches and supports staff in using evidence-based treatment models.
Oversight of program schedule that meets the unique needs of patient population and any unique service groups, based on level of care, balancing both quality and efficiency.
Ensures appropriate documentation of all programs and activities.
Regularly provides training to Skywood staff on effective teaching processes and models.
Evaluates the performance of facilitators. Provides guidance and feedback to facilitators. Monitors competence and attendance of facilitators.
Manages patient care coordination staff, including facilitating Team meetings, trainings and events.
Trains, coaches, and supervises Residential Assistants.
Conducts daily meetings with staff.
Coordinates program milieu.
Completes room checks, safety checks and client supervision checks as necessary.
Monitors, assesses and improves compliance with licensure requirements.
Ensures appropriate documenting of patient records.
Performs responsibilities according to clinical and timeliness guidelines, and assimilates and applies performance feedback.
Participates in the clinical treatment teams.
Works with the Facilities Manager to schedule staff for transportation needs.
Performs regular inspections of resident, ancillary and common areas for sanitization, order, safety and comfortable environment in conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
Inspects storage rooms, utility and janitorial closet, etc., for upkeep and supply control.
Responsible for maintenance of safety equipment and that all staff members are aware of evacuation plans.
Serves on assigned committees (i.e., safety) of the facility and provides written and/or verbal reports of residential counseling services and activities as required or directed.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Social Work strongly required. Masters preferred.
Minimum 5 years in Mental Health field.
Minimum 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Sits, stands, walks, and moves intermittently during work hours.
Must be able to lift, push, pull and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Ability to be physically mobile, climb stairs, traverse the campus on uneven, hilly terrain.
Must be able to move from building to building in possible extreme weather conditions.
Position requires some work on the computer requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
A current, valid driver's license and a clean driving record is required for use of company vehicles and occasional business travel.
