Provide primary health care through assessment, diagnosis, clinical judgment and management abilities to restore, maintain and improve the health status of patients. Meets all requirements on competency skills checklist. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc

Prior experience as a practicing Nurse Midwife (exceptions may be granted by the Board of Trustees under unusual circumstances) or a new graduate with appropriate credentialing. Must meet all Medical Staff requirements for credentialing and being approved by the Mid-level Practitioner Section Credentialing Committee.
