We are currently looking for PRN -Admissions Evaluators to join our team of dedicated professionals. The primary responsibility of an Evaluator is performing all aspects of the assessment and admissions processes in the Admissions Department. Additional responsibilities include efficient and effective handling of inquiry calls, knowledge of, and communication with referral sources; providing hospital and program information to individuals, agencies and professionals; making outside referrals, when appropriate; assessing and triaging an individuals' mental health status; making patient safety and level of care recommendations to the physician; identifying insurance benefits, pre-certification of patient care; completing all admission requirements; communicating patient safety concerns and pertinent patient information to unit nursing staffing and admitting physician when necessary; documenting all required information in Med Series 4
