Schumacher Clinical Partners has retained Cejka Executive Search to assist in the recruitment of a Senior Vice President, Group Medical Officer to lead their Hospitalist Program for the Northeastern Region.

The SVP/GMO position offers an exciting opportunity to participate in the growth and advancement of this nationally recognized healthcare organization.
Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Chief Medical Officer, the SVP/GMO contributes to Schumacher Clinical Partners goals as a leader in the provision of Hospital Medicine practice management and is accountable to lead and direct clinical and operational services for 30+ client partners in the Northeast Region. The SVP/GMO will manage a team of 30+ Medical Directors and support approximately 250 providers in the region. S/he is responsible for establishing, deploying, and maintaining consistent patient care and patient management practices to ensure high quality and consistent clinical operational performance by driving overall accountability for the quality of care and medical practice performance provided with and through the HM providers. The SVP/GMO ensures that at each assigned practice, HM performance is at or above established standards in patient satisfaction, throughput measures, provider engagement, provider retention, and medical director performance. One exciting initiative for the role is to help the organization create a stronger market presence in New York/New Jersey.
Successful candidates for this position will be Board certified physicians with proven leadership experience overseeing and driving an acute and post-acute care hospital medicine service line program within a large, complex healthcare delivery system across multi-sites, preferably multi-state locations. A post-graduate degree is highly desirable. The candidate may reside anywhere within the region which includes the eastern Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Northeast.
