Responsible for managing the staff and operations and implementing process improvements with the Patient Access areas of the Emergency Department, including registration, admission processing and discharge. Supervises the Access staff through regular interaction, evaluation of skills and by conducting regular staff meetings or in-service training sessions. Coordinates the daily operations of the department assisting and directing staff as needed. Responsible for ordering all supplies and preparing the staffing schedules for the department.
Bachelors Degree in HealthCare Administration preferred. 3-5 years in health care management experience with strong working knowledge of clinical needs, budgets, data management, operation systems, admitting, guest relations.
