Position Summary for Director of Labor and Delivery
The Director of L&D Plans directs and coordinates all operational activities for areas of responsibility.
The Director of Labor Delivery and Antepartum develops policies and procedures as well as the quality improvement programs for areas of responsibility.
The Director of Labor Delivery and Antepartum develops the capital and operating budgets. Ensures areas of responsibility are appropriately staffed by hiring and retaining competent staff.
As part of the hospital's management team, the Director of L&D makes a significant contribution to the public's perception of the hospital
The Director of L&D is responsible for the development and enforcement of policies and procedures that ensure quality patient care.
The Director of Labor Delivery and Antepartum is responsible for positive employee engagement and appropriate communication with staff.
Must be an (RN) Registered Nurse
Bachelors Degree/Masters Degree preferred
Licensed in California State or eligible for CA. RN License
5 Years in Labor & Delivery and/or Ante Partum setting required
Minimum of 3 years of management experience
Additional Salary Information: Up to 15% annual bonus
