Leads MemorialCare’s training strategy and plan initiatives by working with the clinical and/or patient access and financial system training specialists in constructing needs assessments, developing training curriculum and tools, and scheduling and executing sessions. All of the above activities increase end users’ efficient utilization of the Epic electronic medical record to enhance their workflows and documentation. Works with internal/external vendors to provide supplemental and on-going training programs to end users as needed. Main applications this trainer supports is Optime/Anesthesia.
Minimum of 5 to 6 years progressive clinical or patient access/financial experience. IT and successful project management experience preferred.
Specific credentialing in EMR application modules and/or technologies highly preferred. Main Epic application for this role is Optime/Anesthesia.
Experience in instructional education, training and/or customer service required.
Must possess superior organizational, presentational and listening/verbal skills.
Must be able to work independently as well as in a team situation and meet aggressive deadlines.
Must excel in a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated.
Must be available for limited travel.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe Captivate preferred.
RN license for clinical trainers is preferred for hospital based training.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent operational experience in a health care or information technology related area is preferred.
