The Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a clinical geneticist to join our Genetics Center at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, the main referral center for children and adults in Southeastern Wisconsin. Our team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, genetic counselors and metabolic dieticians. The team provides services for: Genomic Medicine; Hereditary Disorders of Connective Tissue; Inborn errors of metabolism with a comprehensive State Newborn Screening program; Metabolic service including ERT for Lysosomal Storage Diseases; Neurofibromatosis and RASopathy; and General Genetics.
Responsibilities include patient care, teaching and research. This position is essential to the outpatient and inpatient management of patients with complex genetic disorders.
Qualified candidates must have an MD or equivalent and be a board certified/board eligible in clinical or metabolic genetics.
