Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Job Title: Physician Assistant, Gyn/Onc
Location: Geisinger Medical Center, Danville

Work Type: Full Time, 1.0 FTE
To deliver, in collaboration with the Gyn/Onc physician, diagnostic and therapeutic care to assure that patient care is delivered in a caring and efficient manner throughout Geisinger in an effort to increase patient satisfaction and patient outcomes. Will assist in gathering the data necessary in implementing the therapeutic plan of the physician. Will function as a patient advocate in the medical care system as confidant, advisor, and liaison between patients, designated family members and physicians.
Reports to Women’s Health leadership

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of a CAAHEP approved physician assistant program eligible or certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistant and eligible or certified by the State Board of Medicine required.
Active Collaborative Agreement
Maintenance of BLS Certification as required
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work environment includes: outpatient clinic, inpatient unit and surgical suite.
May require travel for outreach.
