ChristianaCare is recruiting for a Program Operations Coordinator to work part time, 20 hours per week. Days are Monday through Friday, four hours per day. Incumbent may be scheduled to work anytime during the core hours of 8:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m.
This is a grant funded position and although continuation is likely, it is not guaranteed .
In this position, you will support research, evaluation and administration to the Delaware Clinical and Translational Research (CTR) ACCEL Program Grant.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides leadership of research grants and or technical assistance to projects, including managing all consultative services for Delaware CTR ACCEL Program
Assists in the research process by developing and delivering study protocols that incorporate revisions as a part of the development process
Provides guidance on data collection and survey design, mainly projects developed within REDCap (a web-based survey tool with robust data collection and management abilities)
Manages data collection, generates data summaries, and disseminates findings through submission of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations
Conducts literature searches for faculty members and research program
Updates department tracking information for research projects and scholarly activities for all faculty and staff
Prepares, submits and maintains up to date IRB documentation for all projects
Participates in writing grants, identifying opportunities and strategic partnerships, and developing budgets
Assists in facilitating monthly community-engaged research and evaluation team updates via developing reports. Keeps internal and external team members up-to-date with process and outcome deliverables
Assists in the development of research/evaluation principle lectures and trainings
Responsible for annual Community Research Exchange symposium
Coordinates team meetings on a monthly and quarterly basis
Assists grant applicants to assure compliance with application and system standards
Maintains documentation for all department grants/contracts/proposals including physician agreements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree required
Familiarity with basic concepts of health research and performance improvement preferred
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Exceptional organization and collaborative skills
Research grant administration experience preferred
Technical writing experience
Proficiency communicating with various audiences
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Excel, Access,
