ï¿½Processes and enters information pertinent to the scheduling of patients for Therapy and maintains database system
ï¿½Understands and implements TheraOffice and enters patient and demographic information into the computerized scheduling system
ï¿½Ensures accuracy of information in the system including demographics, insurance information, etc.
ï¿½Triages incoming phone calls. Provides accurate information to callers .and relays messages accurately and in a timely manner.
ï¿½Provides patients with directions to locations, and registration process, etc., prior to scheduled visit
ï¿½Produces the daily schedule
ï¿½Produces and distributes periodic computer generated reports
ï¿½Communicates with Therapy team members to promote continuity of patient care throughout all phases of the Therapy experience
ï¿½Utilizes proper process for scheduling of patients, and other routine departmental activities;
ï¿½Updates account info and verifies insurance demographics for accuracy
ï¿½Understands scheduling process
ï¿½Responds to caller and patient questions; knows where and how to obtain information/answers
ï¿½Maintains rapport and communication with referring physicians, secretaries, and clinical staff along with internal Therapy staff
ï¿½Utilizes resources efficiently and effectively
ï¿½Maintains safe environment
ï¿½Participates in Performance Improvement activities
ï¿½Evaluates the Therapy schedule in conjunction with the Site Coordinator to promote efficient allocation of resources and seeks assistance when experiencing difficulty with scheduling
ï¿½Participates in the orientation of new staff and/ or the training of existing staff and students if applicable
Required: High school diploma or GED
Required: minimum of 6 months related experience and/or training
