The Marion VA Healthcare System promotes a collaborative atmosphere where physicians work with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals. The hospitalist position involves direct patient care for patients admitted to the hospital directly to the medicine service. The hospitalist also serves as consultant for patients admitted to the surgical service.
