The primary functions of the GS-14 Service Chief are to provide leadership, supervision, and management for the numerous activities of the Meds By Mail (MbM) Servicing Center. Areas of emphasis include patient (CHAMPVA beneficiary) care and safety, performance improvement, formulary management, budgetary control, determining resource needs, allocating resources, monitoring productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness of operations, and ensuring compliance with VA and regulatory requirements.
