Pharmacist (Registry)
Job Summary: The foremost professional responsibility of the pharmacist is to provide pharmaceutical care: identifying, assessing and solving medication problems. This includes promoting safe, efficacious and cost-effective medication therapy. The pharmacist is responsible for providing physician, staff and family (caregivers) with drug information. The pharmacist organizes and directs work to meet the patients' medication needs and in doing such, is responsible for processing all prescriptions, maintaining appropriate records, distributing and controlling all pharmaceuticals. Pharmacists are responsible for the supervision of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support personnel .
