The Performance Improvement (PI) Analyst is responsible for remaining current with the various Quality Metrics programs. The Analyst must demonstrate high competency with medical data analysis techniques along with a demonstrated ability to create data trend reports and/or presentations.
Responsible for performing concurrent and retrospective reviews of patient medical records for quality improvement and assists in coordinating performance improvement for the organization.
Maintain a thorough understanding of Quality Metrics and Quality Registry (Cozeva) used to monitor patients enrolled in Quality Incentive Programs.
Serves as a liaison with clinical staff, validating accurate documentation is obtained and will coincide with quality incentive guidelines.
Conduct patient outreach (letters/phone calls or secure email) to educate and assist with care gaps.
Track, monitor, and trend quality data in comparison to company goals.
To improve the patient experience by providing health care providers; patients and their families; and others with information, education, networking opportunities, and related resources focused on best practices.
