The Centralized Appointment Scheduler position performsa variety of services. Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:
Provides direct customer service to patients, physicians and co-workers. Verifies and completes necessary information for registration/charge ticket process
Answers phones, and performs general clerical tasks for department when required
Schedules all appointments for area. Coordinates patient flow and schedules with physician/authorized practitioner and other staff to ensure patient satisfaction.
Pre-authorize all appointments for area. Handles any billing questions posed by patients and co-workers.
