Must have knowledge of Pharmacy Service, the Medical Center, VHA, and federal/state regulations/policies/procedures that affect Pharmacy Services; VHA regulations influencing Pharmacy Service and the Medical Center approved drugs in order to complete assignments accurately and to properly respond to questions form the medical Center staff, patients, and/or caregivers. Knowledge of trending and analysis necessary to ensure that problems associated with fraud, waste, or abuse are reported. Demonstrate ability to accurately navigate and utilize VistA, CPRS, and any other patient databases necessary to perform the job Establish patient eligibility status.
