Works closely with Physicians and AHPâ��s providing training on Meditech applications (CPOE, P-Doc, PCI etc.), Softmed Electronic Signature application, Dragon Speech recognition, Dictation system and Joint Commission requirements for a complete medical record. Reviews the Electronic record to ensure compliance with Medical Staff Rules & Regulations and JCAHO standards. Performs the suspension procedure when the Chart Control Supervisor is unavailable. Performs transcription duties ensuring that documents are available for patient care. Performs release of information duties, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and MA Laws.

High School education or equivalent required.
Associate degree in HIM preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology highly desirable.
Advanced Computer skills.
Able to read, write and speak English.
