Responsible for providing leadership and direction to Pastoral Care program/mission.
Supervises staff Chaplains, fosters awareness and appreciation for cultural and religious diversity within a hospital setting.
Oversees the selection, orientation, education and assessment of Chaplain Volunteers.
Leads and directs patient visits and provision of spiritual comfort and pastoral care.
Required: Graduate degree in Theology
Required: 4 years as hospital chaplain
Required: Certification as Chaplain or board eligible by National Association of Hospital chaplaincy. May be required to hold certification as a CPE Supervisor by ACPE if responsible for supervising clinical pastoral education students.
