Position Summary: The Senior Operations Specialist is responsible for operational leadership and successful delivery of systemwide initiatives having significant complexity with executive-level sponsors and stakeholders. This position provides oversight to operations within the assigned department and supports the development and implementation of initiatives that promote company culture and strategic vision. The successful candidate ensures use of standardized project management methodologies, processes and tools. The Senior Operations Specialist delivers within approved budget, schedule and meets quality standards.
Minimum Requirements: Five (5) years of project management experience required, experience in a healthcare setting preferred Experience in quality improvement and cost reduction projects preferred
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Masters degree in relevant field required. Consideration for candidate already enrolled in masters program or must obtain within 3 years of hire Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred or ability to get within one year of hire
