F/T Patient Care Technician - Emergency Dept. - Chilton Medical Center 11am-11pm
Assist the Emergency Department team in the care delivery of patients, including pediatrics Obtain vital signs, perform phlebotomy, EKGs Assist with feeding, ADLs, ambulation and transfer of patients Assist with minor procedures Observe and report normal and abnormal findings to the RN Maintain stock supplies and ready environment for care
High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to read, write and speak English. Computer skill
Completion of a nursing assistant training program or nursing school/EMT enrollment preferred 6 months prior healthcare experience with patient care experience. (preferred) Completion of Healthcare Provider Course within six months. All qualified applican
