Atlantic Health System is seeking multiple Full Time Certified Medical Assistant at Morristown Medical Center, (CMA) to assume clinical and adminstrative duties at our office in Morristown, NJ.
Hours: 7am-3pm and/or 9am-5pm
Monday through Friday
AHS is seeking a FT Certified Medical Assistant for Occupational Medicine Services. A minimum of 3 years of office and clinical experience required.
Must be an independent thinker, and a team player.
Will be responsible for a wide range of duties including both administrative and clinical duties assisting Clinical Staff, Business Coordinator, Manager and Director.
Clinical responsibilities include assisting clinical staff with direct patient care (e.g., vital signs, vision, TST and vaccine administration and other testing as directed by the MD or NP).
Administrative responsibilities include patient check in, filing and scanning patient documents (e.g., vaccines) into OMS EMR and data entry.
Archiving terminated paper charts and ensuring paper files are maintained in a proper fashion.
Performing general clerical duties such as answering the phone, copying, and scheduling patients, data entry and maintaining the patient schedules, getting mail, ordering supplies and faxing. Assisting with monthly departmental statistics and participating in special projects as needed.
HS diploma required. Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
Certification through AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT or NHA required
Physician office experience preferred. Hospital experience preferred. Occupational medicine experience a plus
