St. Luke's Neonatology in Boise, Idaho is seeking a FLEX NNP to join our highly collegial and patient focused NICU team. The selected individual will be working alongside our Board Certified Neonatologists and NNPs in our Level II NICUs in Nampa and Meridian Idaho, and potentially our Level IV NICU in Boise, Idaho. As a PRN role the shifts will be variable. One year of experience in a Level 2 NICU or higher and the ability to work independentlyis required.
Meridian and Nampa level 2 NICUs , the Meridian is a 12-bed facility. Nampa facility, newly opened in 2017, has 8 private NICU rooms and 7 NICU/LDRP Family Care Suites. NNPs provide 24 hour coverage with a Neonatologist on call from home.
The Level IVfacilityiswithinSt. LukesChildrensHospital,aCHA-designated childrenshospital-within-a-hospitallocatedin downtown Boise, Idaho. This is aNICU 61-bedunit,with advancedtechnologysupport (HFV,iNO, therapeutic hypothermia,noninvasiveventilation), semi-privaterooms, anda priorityoffamily-centeredcare.It maintains an ADCof 35 andapproximately 900 admissions peryear.NNPs providedaily roundingsupport and in-housenightcoverage with an in-house Neonatologist at this facility.
The Children's Hospital provides a full complement of Pediatric Subspecialty services with the exception of ECMO or complex congenital heart surgery. The program is supported by a skilled Obstetrical department including 6 full time MFM specialists.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Graduation from a School of Nursing, passing results on the certification examination administration by an organization recognized by the Idaho Board of Nursing, and a Nurse Practitioner Program with current RN, APRN and controlled substance licensure from Idaho.
2. Current, unrestricted DEA certificate.
3. Current national certification as NNP. Exception: Flex NNPs will not be required to maintain Idaho Controlled substance licensure or unrestricted DEA certificate.
4. Excellent communication skills to include oral and written comprehension/expression.
