The Division of Pediatric Psychiatry and Psychology at Akron Children's Hospital (ACH) is seeking a pediatric psychologist with interest and expertise in Behavioral Sleep Medicine. This position offers the opportunity to join a growing multidisciplinary team to continue to expand psychology-related services within the present Sleep Medicine program. In addition to direct clinical work, there will be opportunities for engagement in program development, quality improvement initiatives, clinical outcomes research, and the training of pediatric psychology trainees (e.g., practicum students, fellows), pediatric residents, and pediatric fellows training in developmental behavioral pediatrics and child psychiatry.
Requirements include a doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical psychology (child or pediatric emphasis preferred) from an APA-accredited doctoral program, completion of an APA-accredited internship (child or pediatric emphasis preferred), license eligibility in the State of Ohio, and a strong interest in the practice of evidence-based pediatric psychology. Applicants who have experience in Behavioral Sleep Medicine and have completed a post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric psychology are preferred.
