Collaborates frequently with Clinic Managers, Section Heads, Practice Directors, other Medical Directors, VP - Medical Group Operations, and Physician Executive, Medical Group.2. Promotes team structures for care delivery.3. Maintains key focus areas of Quality, Safety, Experience, and Sustainability.4. Works closely with Practice Director to drive improved performance of the Anesthesia in key focus areas.5. Weekly, meets with the VP - Medical Group Operations and Physician Executive, Medical Group to review operational performance, identify areas of improvement, and communicate key messages.6. Monthly, co-leads Specialty SMASH (Manager and Section Head) meetings with Practice Director to review and develop performance measures and improvement plans for key performance areas.7. Weekly, rounds within Anesthesia to touch base with team members and section leaders, creating visibility and fostering open communication.8. Quarterly, meets with Anesthesia Section Heads individually to review section performance.9. Yearly, conducts annual performance evaluations for all Anesthesia Section Heads.10. Holds team members accountable to agreed-upon standards, conduct, and organizational policies. When necessary, applies progressive discipline principals and oversees performance improvement plans.11. Works with Practice Director to review and update staffing models. Participates in recruitment, hiring, retention efforts, and terminations.12. Other duties as assigned by the Physician Executive, Medical Group. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSEducation: Doctorate of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required.Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in specialty required.Licenses/Certificates/Registration:
Licensed to practice medicine in Washington state; current state medical license in good standing with medical board required.
Board certified (or eligible), or equivalent experience.
Credentialed for full scope of practice at the hospital.
American Heart Association BLS or ACLS required.Level of Business Knowledge/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:1. Comprehensiona.
