Position Information: Fellowship Trained Acute Care Surgery and Trauma Opportunity Raleigh, NC
Our Raleigh campus is a multispecialty private/non-profit hospital with very busy Level 1 Trauma Center in a community-based 567 bed facility.
As the #1 rated hospital to work for in North Carolina, we are seeking an Acute Care Surgeon with Fellowship in Acute Care Surgery/Critical Care for Inpatient and ED management of general and trauma patients (with call once every 5-6 nights). The successful candidate will be in an ICU rotation with 9 other Trauma/Critical Care surgeons, plus opportunities for elective surgeries.
General and specialty surgeons are also part of the group. Affiliation with University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and Clinical Faculty position may be available. Our team will participate with rotating surgical residents and medical students, therefore interest in teaching will be a plus. There will be an opportunity for research if desired and WakeMed is supported by a very strong APP program.
