UP Health System Portage in beautiful Hancock Michigan welcomes BE/BC Geriatrician or primary care physician with a special interest/focus in Geriatrics to join our team of engaged physicians. Full, turn-key practice with tremendous growth opportunity. This is an outpatient only position with shared call (phone only) and no inpatient responsibilities. Nursing home rounds will be incorporated into your schedule for rounds at any of the four local nursing homes.

The Hospital:

UP Health System - Portage has been providing comprehensive healthcare for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan since 1896. The 36-bed hospital is a verified chest pain center through the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC) and houses the area's only open bore MRI machine. UP Health System - Portage was home to the first Level III ACS (American College of Surgeons) verified trauma center and emergency department in the state.
