Star Community Health Federally Qualified Health Center LA is seeking Pediatric Dentists for our Dental program. This Dentist will provide direct dental care to patients in the communities supported by our Health Center.
Our Health Center is affiliated with St. Luke?s Dental Medicine Residency that are accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
Our residents, faculty and Providers work together to provide excellent care for our patients and support each other in an environment of teaching and scholarly activity.
The Core Faculty positions are responsible for leading, administering, and supervising all aspects of the Dental Clinic Residency Program.
This position does not have preceptor responsibilities.
Candidates must be experienced DDS, DMD. A valid unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the state of Pennsylvania and evidence of current professional liability insurance. A current conscious sedation (Nitrous Oxide sedation) license is desirable. Five years of experience in a clinical setting is strongly recommended. Current certificate in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support.

Our Dentists can treat patients not only in the 3 offices and 3 Vans we currently have, but also are able to treat patients in the St. Luke?s University hospital operating rooms. Our Offices are currently set up with HEPA filtration Systems. We have state of the art equipment and 21 Operatories combined in the three offices we have with Star Community Health.
